BroadOak Leads Acquisition of Particle Dynamics from Edgewater Capital Partners

Particle Dynamics, a U.S.-based specialist in particle processing and finished-dose manufacturing for pharmaceutical, OTC and nutraceutical customers, was sold by Edgewater Capital Partners to a new investor group led by BroadOak Capital Partners with Research Corporation Technologies and Farragut Capital Partners. The transaction (announced September 29, 2021) creates a new ownership group that aims to accelerate the company’s growth and expand its capabilities at its U.S. GMP, FDA-inspected facilities.

Farragut Capital Partners Makes Growth Investment in Parry Labs

BroadOak Invests in Microsize (Lonza's North American Micronization Business)

BP Energy Partners Invests in Onboard Dynamics

BP Energy Partners (BPEP) has signed an equity investment agreement with Onboard Dynamics to provide growth capital to scale the company’s products and service offerings, including its GoVAC Flex pipeline evacuation system. Onboard Dynamics, headquartered in Bend, Oregon, manufactures and leases mobile compression and evacuation equipment for utilities, local distribution companies, and pipeline operators; the transaction was expected to close in October 2021.

Digi International Acquires Particle Industries for $50 Million

Particle Dynamics Acquires EUROAPI UK Haverhill Spray Drying Facility

Particle Dynamics has acquired EUROAPI UK Ltd., the operator of a commercial spray drying facility in Haverhill, United Kingdom, from EUROAPI as part of the latter’s portfolio restructuring. The deal adds spray-drying expertise and commercial-scale capacity to Particle Dynamics’ global CDMO platform and will see investment to expand capabilities and serve clinical and commercial projects.
