Beekman Investment Partners IV (through an affiliate) has completed a recapitalization of GED Integrated Solutions, Inc., partnering with GED management and industry advisor Jeff Reed. GED, founded in 1977 and headquartered in Glenwillow, Ohio, is a market leader in intelligent automation equipment, software, parts and service for the U.S. fenestration (window) industry; seller was Altus Capital Partners.

MSouth Equity Partners completed an investment in Automated Equipment Holding Company, LLC (d/b/a GED), a Glenwillow, Ohio-based designer and manufacturer of automation equipment for the North American window and door industry. The Beekman Group remains an investor and Jeff Reed will continue as Executive Chairman; MSouth said it will support GED's next phase of growth organically and via M&A to build a broader industrial automation platform.

The deal expands Greenwood's footprint into the Metropolitan New York and Hudson Valley markets and combines Greenwood's building envelope capabilities with Hudson Valley Roofing's regional reputation and unionized workforce.
