A.P. Møller Holding A/S has signed an agreement to acquire Faerch A/S, a pan‑European leader in sustainable food packaging, from funds managed by Advent International for approximately EUR 1.9 billion. The deal, subject to competition approvals and completion of Faerch's recently announced Sirap acquisition, will support Faerch's expansion of recycling capacity and accelerate its circular packaging strategy.

Faerch Acquires PACCOR Packaging from Lindsay Goldberg

Faerch Group, a leading European rigid food-packaging manufacturer, has agreed to acquire PACCOR Packaging from private equity firm Lindsay Goldberg. The deal adds PACCOR’s production footprint and dairy-focused packaging capabilities—while the PACCOR UK business (two sites) remains with Lindsay Goldberg—and supports Faerch’s strategy to scale circular and recyclable packaging solutions.

The Middleby Corporation Acquires CP Packaging

The Middleby Corporation has acquired CP Packaging, a manufacturer of high-speed vacuum and thermoforming horizontal form-fill-and-seal packaging equipment based in Appleton, Wisconsin. The acquisition (CP Packaging had approximately $15 million in annual sales) expands Middleby's food processing and packaging equipment offerings and strengthens its ability to provide integrated full-line solutions to food industry customers.

IPACKCHEM Group Acquires Majority Stake in TPG Plastics LLC

IPACKCHEM Group acquired a majority stake in TPG Plastics LLC to bring its Advanced In‑Mold Fluorination (Advanced IMF) barrier packaging technology to North America and serve the crop protection market. The deal gives IPACKCHEM a manufacturing foothold in Murray, Kentucky and includes near‑term investments to expand capacity and support growth into additional life‑enhancing chemical segments.

SC Pack Group Acquires Frapak Packaging

The deal expands SC Pack’s European footprint and product portfolio, creating a combined group with ~€350m revenue and roughly 500 packaging professionals across more than 15 countries.

Schur Flexibles Group Acquires Termoplast S.r.L.

Schur Flexibles Group has acquired 100% of Termoplast S.r.L., an Italian producer of 100% recyclable MDO-PE films and operator of an on-site recycling business. The acquisition (closed end of June 2021) will accelerate Schur Flexibles' expansion in the Italian market while preserving continuity as the selling family remains in management.
