Revolution Sustainable Solutions (Revolution), a U.S.-based recycling and sustainable plastics manufacturer, has acquired PolyAg Recycling Ltd., a mechanical agricultural film recycler based in Bashaw, Alberta, Canada. The acquisition expands Revolution's recycling capacity and North American footprint for agricultural film circular solutions, while PolyAg's operations and employees are expected to continue under Revolution's ownership.

Revolution Sustainable Solutions Acquires Island Plastics

Revolution Sustainable Solutions, LLC has acquired Island Plastics, LLC, a Flint, Michigan-based producer of 100% post-consumer recycled LLDPE/LDPE film-grade resin. The purchase expands Revolution’s mechanical recycling and PCR production capabilities — including plans to leverage its recent FDA Letter of No Objection to offer clear food-grade PCR for flexible food packaging and other end markets.

Revolution Acquires Five Points Films

Revolution, a Little Rock-based sustainable plastics manufacturer, has acquired Five Points Films, a Shelbyville, Tennessee manufacturer of cast hand and machine stretch film. The add-on expands Revolution’s national footprint and stretch-film manufacturing capacity and will enable the application of Revolution’s recycled-content, circular manufacturing capabilities to the stretch film market.

Novolex Acquires Flexo Converters USA, Inc.

Novolex, a portfolio company of The Carlyle Group, has acquired Flexo Converters USA, Inc., a family-owned manufacturer of stock, custom and recycled paper bags and sacks headquartered in Meriden, Connecticut, with an additional plant in Monroe, Georgia. Flexo's products will be sold under the Novolex Duro Bag brand and the acquisition adds production capacity to support rising demand from foodservice and grocery customers; eligible full‑time Flexo employees will join Novolex.

Zeus Acquires Canadian Distributor Agri-Flex

Irish-owned packaging group Zeus has acquired Canadian agricultural supply distributor Agri-Flex as part of its €35 million investment strategy. Revolution, a Little Rock-based manufacturer of sustainable plastic solutions, acquired Polar Plastics Corporation from Spell Capital Partners to expand its production footprint and deepen penetration into packaging, agriculture and retail end markets. Polar Plastics is headquartered in St. Paul, Minnesota and operates a 100,000-square-foot polyethylene film and bag manufacturing facility; Spell Capital had owned the business since 2018.
