Kin Insurance Acquires Inactive Carrier with Licenses in 43 States

Kin Insurance has completed the acquisition of an inactive insurance carrier that holds licenses in 43 U.S. states; the carrier will be renamed the Kin Interinsurance Nexus. The acquisition gives Kin the regulatory footprint to expand beyond its current markets (Florida, Louisiana and California) into many catastrophe-exposed states, supporting rapid geographic growth and new product distribution.
