PACS Group Acquires Operations of Eight Skilled Nursing Facilities in Pennsylvania

PACS Group, Inc. (PACS) announced that its independently operated subsidiaries have acquired the operations of eight skilled nursing facilities in western Pennsylvania (Pittsburgh, Bedford, Bethel Park, Monroeville and McMurray), totaling 1,199 skilled nursing beds. Four of the facilities are being leased from an affiliate of CareTrust REIT and PACS subsidiaries acquired the real estate for the remaining four; the deal expands PACS into its 17th state.

Creative Solutions in Healthcare has closed or contracted the purchase of 18 skilled nursing facilities across Texas (including Dallas, Fort Worth and El Paso), representing 2,228 licensed beds and an appraised portfolio value of $218 million. The family-owned operator is using HUD-insured permanent financing (with a $155 million HUD debt pipeline) and a mix of bridge, TPA assumption and straight-to-HUD structures to accelerate platform growth and consolidation in the Texas long-term care market.
