onX, the outdoor GPS mapping and navigation company, has acquired Adventure Projects, Inc., the operator of community-driven outdoor guide sites and mobile apps (including Mountain Project, MTB Project, Hiking Project, Powder Project, and Trail Run Project). onX said it will continue to work with Adventure Projects' contributors and CEO Nick Wilder while integrating their guide content and communities into onX's mapping products to enhance outdoor discovery and access.
