Nautic Partners, LLC completed the acquisition of Harrington Industrial Plastics in partnership with Harrington management. Nautic will support Harrington’s organic growth and pursue selective add-on acquisitions to expand the company’s distribution footprint in corrosion-resistant fluid conveyance, control, and measurement products across end markets such as water treatment, chemicals, labs, and food & beverage.

Bain Capital Private Equity to Acquire Harrington Process Solutions

Bain Capital Private Equity has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Harrington Process Solutions (also known as Harrington Industrial Plastics) from Nautic Partners. Harrington, a Chino, California–headquartered specialty distributor of piping and fluid process products with more than 60 U.S. locations, will remain led by its current management team; the transaction is expected to close in Q4 2023 (terms not disclosed).

Harrington Industrial Plastics (Nautic Partners) Acquires Crist Group

Harrington Industrial Plastics, a portfolio company of Nautic Partners, has acquired Crist Group, a Woodland, California-based specialty fabricator of fluoropolymer fluid process components serving the semiconductor and medical markets. The add-on acquisition will deepen Harrington's fabrication capabilities and broaden its offering to semiconductor customers while Crist's owner, Paul Crist, will join Harrington and continue to run the Crist division.

Harrington Industrial Plastics Acquires Commercial Industrial Supply

Harrington Industrial Plastics, a portfolio company of Nautic Partners, has acquired Commercial Industrial Supply (CIS), a Rock Hill, South Carolina-based distributor of thermoplastic fittings, valves, pipe and filtration products. CIS's strong online sales channel and same-day fulfillment capability will augment Harrington's e-commerce and increase regional density; CIS owner Ron Heisler will join the combined business.

Nautic Partners Acquires Aurora Plastics

Nautic Partners has completed the acquisition of Aurora Plastics, a Streetsboro, Ohio-based producer of PVC and custom polymer compounds, in partnership with Aurora management. The seller parties were Wind Point Partners and Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan Board; financing for the deal was led by Antares Capital and Carlyle Global Credit, and Nautic says it will support Aurora's growth and pursue acquisitions in the fragmented specialty compounds market.

Aetna Truck Parts Acquires Douglas Truck Parts
