Flip Electronics Acquires Resurgent Semiconductor

Flip Electronics, an authorized specialty distributor of obsolete electronic components, has acquired Resurgent Semiconductor (to be renamed Resurgent Manufacturing Services) of Scotts Valley, California. The deal—announced with participation from investor O2 Investment Partners—adds extended manufacturing and end-of-life semiconductor capabilities to Flip's services to better support OEMs and contract manufacturers facing component obsolescence.
