Southfield Capital Invests in APC Integrated Services Group

Southfield Capital announced an investment in APC Integrated Services Group, a Chesterfield, Missouri–based pioneer in consumer marketing of vehicle service contracts. APC's senior management will remain in place following the transaction; Colonnade Securities advised APC and East West Bank led the financing. Southfield said it will support APC in expanding its service offering and scaling the business.

Southfield Capital Partners with Alba Wheels Up

Southfield Capital has partnered with Alba Wheels Up, a Valley Stream, New York-based customs brokerage and freight forwarding firm, in the firm's first platform investment from Southfield Capital III LP. The transaction will support Alba's growth initiatives—expanding service offerings, entering new markets, and strengthening its technology and trade compliance capabilities, while founders Salvatore and Damien Stile remain in leadership roles.

Southfield Capital Acquires TFS from OnPoint Group

Southfield Capital has acquired TFS, Ltd., a Perrysburg, Ohio-based provider of material handling fleet management services, from OnPoint Group. Comvest Credit Partners provided senior secured financing to support the transaction; Southfield will retain the incumbent management team and re-invest returning executives to support growth and expand service and technology capabilities.

Capital Z Acquires Portfolio Group from Frontenac

New York-based private equity firm Capital Z Partners Management, LLC acquired Portfolio Group, Inc., a Lake Forest, California–based provider of vehicle service contracts, GAP insurance and other F&I products, from Frontenac Company, LLC. Management will remain in place with significant ownership; terms were not disclosed.

Cornell Capital Acquires Spectrum Automotive Holdings Corp.

Cornell Capital LLC has acquired Spectrum Automotive Holdings Corp. from Southfield Capital; terms were not disclosed. Spectrum, headquartered in Fairfield, New Jersey, is an agent, marketer and administrator of finance and insurance (F&I) products serving more than 1,400 dealers, OEMs and administrators across the U.S. Southfield Capital had owned Spectrum since 2015 and the management team will remain as significant shareholders alongside Cornell Capital.

CI Capital Partners Acquires Total Fleet Solutions from Southfield Capital

CI Capital Partners has acquired Material Handling Services, LLC (d/b/a Total Fleet Solutions), a Holland, Ohio-based provider of outsourced fleet management, maintenance and procurement services for material handling equipment, from Southfield Capital Advisors. Total Fleet Solutions, founded in 2001, focuses on recurring fleet-management contracts for large manufacturing and distribution customers; Southfield had owned a majority stake since 2005.
