Beanfield Metroconnect Acquires FibreStream

Beanfield Metroconnect, the owner and operator of a large independent fibre-optic network in Toronto and Montreal, acquired FibreStream, an ISP serving condominium residents in the GTA, Ottawa and Vancouver. The deal expands Beanfield’s residential footprint and customer base while retaining FibreStream’s plans and pricing for existing customers.

Ripple Fiber Acquires BridgeNET Fiber to Expand Statesville, North Carolina Footprint

Ripple Fiber, a Charlotte-based fiber network operator, has acquired BridgeNET Fiber of Statesville, North Carolina, with the deal closing June 4, 2025. The transaction brings BridgeNET's team and assets into Ripple Fiber and supports a projected expansion to 18,000 passings in Statesville, accelerating local fiber deployment and expanding Ripple Fiber's North Carolina presence.

FluidOne (Livingbridge-backed) Acquires Highlander Computing Solutions

FluidOne, an investee of Livingbridge, has acquired Highlander Computing Solutions Ltd to expand its IT managed services footprint into the North of England and create a centre of excellence for SME IT services. The bolt-on is expected to grow FluidOne's revenue by about 35% and strengthens its Connected Cloud Solutions portfolio across enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud and cyber security.

Lightpath Acquires Cambridge Network Solutions, Hub Fiber Assets and Local Provider to Enter Boston Market

Lightpath announced three concurrent acquisitions to establish an all-fiber, enterprise-grade presence in the Greater Boston area: the purchase of Cambridge Network Solutions (CNS), a second local connectivity provider (unnamed), and the acquisition of fiber network assets from Hub Fiber. The deals add over 80 route miles of fiber serving more than 100 locations (including 12 data centers) and connect Lightpath’s new Boston footprint to its NY Metro network.

Livingbridge Invests in North; North Acquires Data Techniques
