Cognizant Acquires New Signature

Cognizant announced it will acquire New Signature, a leading Microsoft-focused cloud transformation specialist, to form a new Microsoft Business Group and expand Cognizant's hyperscale cloud advisory and managed services capabilities. The deal (financial terms undisclosed) will bring New Signature’s more than 500 cloud experts into Cognizant and is expected to close in Q3 2020, subject to regulatory approvals.

IBM Acquires Neudesic to Expand Azure and Multicloud Capabilities

IBM has acquired Neudesic, a U.S.-based cloud services consultancy specializing in Microsoft Azure and multicloud services, to bolster IBM Consulting's hybrid cloud and AI capabilities. Financial terms were not disclosed; Neudesic's ~1,500 cloud and data experts will join IBM Consulting to accelerate clients' digital transformation across industries including healthcare, financial services and energy.

CACI International Inc. has acquired Azure Summit Technology in an all-cash transaction valued at $1.275 billion, strengthening CACI's capabilities in RF hardware, software-defined technologies, and electromagnetic-spectrum solutions for defense customers. The acquisition brings more than 300 Azure Summit employees into CACI and expands CACI's offerings in ISR, electronic warfare (EW), and signals intelligence (SIGINT) across maritime and airborne platforms.
