Orion Energy Systems Acquires Stay-Lite Lighting

Orion Energy Systems, a publicly traded provider of energy-efficient LED lighting and maintenance solutions, acquired Stay-Lite Lighting, a nationwide lighting and electrical maintenance service provider. The deal adds Stay-Lite's self-performing capabilities across 15 states, established retail customer relationships and about $9 million in annual revenue to accelerate growth of Orion's Maintenance Services business.

Shell USA, Inc. Acquires Volta Inc.

Shell USA, Inc., a subsidiary of Shell plc, has completed the all-cash acquisition of Volta Inc., adding Volta’s EV charging and digital out-of-home media network to Shell’s mobility business. The deal, approved by Volta stockholders and cleared by regulators, transfers Volta’s charging-and-media operations into Shell’s U.S. mobility organization.

BorgWarner Acquires Rhombus Energy Solutions

BorgWarner Inc. acquired San Diego-based Rhombus Energy Solutions for an enterprise value of up to $185 million, with approximately $130 million paid at closing and up to $55 million in contingent payments. The deal expands BorgWarner's charging business—adding V2G and DC fast-charging capabilities and a North American presence—and leverages BorgWarner's manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and sales strengths to scale Rhombus's technology.

EQT Infrastructure Acquires InstaVolt from Zouk Capital

EQT Infrastructure V has agreed to acquire InstaVolt Limited, a UK-based operator and owner of rapid EV charging points, from Zouk Capital. EQT plans to invest to accelerate InstaVolt's roll-out — targeting a nationwide network of 10,000 rapid chargers by 2032 — and support expansion in the UK and internationally.

Mill Point Capital formed Voltaris Power LLC by acquiring Pioneer Custom Electrical Products (from Pioneer Power Solutions) and Jefferson Electric (from ERMCO) through corporate carve-outs. The combination creates an electrical power solutions platform focused on switchgear, transformers, unit substations and related engineered products to serve growing end-markets such as EV charging, microgrids and data centers.

Vontier Acquires Driivz

Vontier Corporation announced the acquisition of Driivz, a Tel Aviv–based provider of cloud-based EV charging and energy management software. The deal (financial terms not disclosed) follows Vontier's prior minority investment in Driivz and supports Vontier's multi-year $500 million commitment to the energy transition by adding software capabilities in the EV charging infrastructure market.
