The transaction is an add-on to FSS aimed at expanding its geographic footprint and customer base; Venture's founder Ernie Brooks is preparing to retire and Jeret Higgs will lead the business post-close.

Westbridge Capital Ltd. has completed the acquisition of Berg Industrial Service, Inc., a 50-year-old, second-generation family business headquartered in Ontario that designs, installs and services industrial chilling systems and operates an associated engineering and fabrication business. Management continuity was announced with Mark Edwards continuing as CEO, Rebecca Carothers joining as COO, and Michael Turner joining the board.

Varsteel Acquires Pacific Steel

Ferguson Enterprises has closed two bolt-on acquisitions: Independent Pipe & Supply Corp., a PVF and commercial plumbing distributor based in Canton, Massachusetts, and National Fire Equipment Ltd. and National Fire Fabrication Ltd., a Toronto-based fire protection products and fabrication business. The deals expand Ferguson's commercial plumbing and mechanical footprint in New England and strengthen its Fire & Fabrication capabilities and presence in Canada.
