Dunes Point Capital Acquires Majority Interest in Eastern Communications

Dunes Point Capital, LP acquired a majority interest in Eastern Communications, Ltd., a national distributor and technical service provider of mission‑critical communication devices and network infrastructure for public safety agencies. The investment is led by Dunes Point Capital Fund III with co-investors including funds managed by Partners Capital and debt financing from Audax Private Debt, TPG Twin Brook and Manulife; Eastern is headquartered in Queens, New York and employs approximately 200 people.

AppDirect Acquires vCom Solutions

AppDirect has closed its acquisition of vCom Solutions for over $100 million, adding vCom’s network and mobility lifecycle management platform, Buyers’ Club program, and managed services to AppDirect’s unified lifecycle management offering. The deal—NEC’s third add-on since Pfingsten became majority shareholder in October 2021—closed October 31, 2022; Eastern CEO Steve Slade will retain ownership and join NEC’s executive team as the combined platform expands geographic coverage and service capabilities.

Eastern DataComm Acquires OSI Technology (Warren, NJ)

National OnDemand Acquires A+ Communications
