PowerGEM Acquires Cambridge Energy Solutions

PowerGEM, a PE-backed provider of power grid and energy market simulation software, has merged with Cambridge Energy Solutions (CES) to combine complementary energy market modeling and pricing simulation products. The deal expands PowerGEM's software portfolio and capabilities for short- and long-term electricity market simulation to better serve traders, financial firms, utilities and other power market participants.

Radius Mechanical Acquires National Grid's Energy Management Business

Radius Mechanical, a New Rochelle-based commercial mechanical services firm, acquired National Grid's Energy Management business (NGEM) from National Grid in a divestiture. The deal transfers NGEM's portfolio of long-term commercial and municipal energy plant operations and maintenance contracts — including work for NYCHA and several Fortune 500 clients — to Radius; terms were not disclosed.
