The investment will fund an aggressive growth plan — including geographic expansion and strategic hires — to bring Patheous Health's mobile dysphagia platform to more skilled nursing and senior care sites.

BrightSpring Health Services Acquires Abode Healthcare

BrightSpring Health Services has completed the acquisition of Abode Healthcare, a Durango, Colorado–based provider of home health and hospice services that operates 41 branches across 12 states. The deal expands BrightSpring's home health and hospice footprint (combined coverage now spans 17 states) and keeps Abode CEO Mike McMaude in place to continue leading the business under the Abode and affiliate names.

BrightSpring Health Services Acquires Assets of Haven Hospice in North Central Florida

BrightSpring Health Services (NASDAQ: BTSG) completed the acquisition of the assets of North Central Florida Hospice, Inc. and Haven Medical Group, LLC (collectively "Haven Hospice") effective September 1, 2024, expanding BrightSpring's hospice and palliative services into Florida. Total consideration was $60 million (including $15M cash, $30M in company equity and a $15M seller note), and the acquisition adds a Certificate of Need (CON) footprint covering 18 counties in north central Florida.

BlueSprig Pediatrics Acquires Aptitude Habilitation Services

The acquisition expands BlueSprig’s footprint into five additional states (Colorado, North Carolina, Tennessee, Hawaii and Virginia) and increases density in markets where it already operates; terms were not disclosed.

BrightSpring Health Services Acquires Roanoke Home Care

BrightSpring Health Services has acquired the home health business of the Martin-Tyrrell-Washington District Health Department, known as Roanoke Home Care. The team will join BrightSpring’s Adoration Home Health business and continue operating across Roanoke’s existing footprint, the Outer Banks and surrounding areas in North Carolina as part of BrightSpring’s continued home health expansion in the state.
