Denver-based Krayden, Inc., a distributor of specialty chemicals and engineered solutions, has acquired Northern Composites of Hampton, New Hampshire. Northern Composites — a distributor and manufacturer of composite materials and vacuum bagging products — will continue operating at its Hampton, NH and Greensboro, NC facilities with existing employees retained; Krayden intends to leverage Northern Composites' manufacturing and kitting capabilities to broaden its product offering and technical service footprint.

Kenan Advantage Group Acquires Northern Dry Bulk

Kenan Advantage Group has acquired Northern Dry Bulk, a Clare, Michigan-based dry bulk transporter and warehousing operator that specializes in transport and storage of plastic resins for automotive, packaging and electronics end markets. The deal — terms not disclosed — brings Northern Dry Bulk's drivers, technicians, 36 tractors, 91 trailers and two terminals into KAG as it enters the dry bulk transportation business (the plastics recycling operation was excluded).
