International private equity firm Cinven, together with the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board, agreed to acquire Germany-based dogado Group from funds advised by Triton (and related sellers) and combine it with Cinven’s group.ONE platform. dogado is a leading DACH-region cloud hosting and digital marketing provider serving ~380,000 customers and employing roughly 500+ people across offices in Germany, Austria and Switzerland; the deal is positioned as an add-on to expand group.ONE’s hosting and digital services footprint in Europe.

Cinven to Acquire INSEEC U.

Cegid to Combine With Grupo Primavera

French cloud-management software provider Cegid has entered into a definitive all-share agreement to combine with Iberian business-software platform Grupo Primavera, creating an enlarged cloud business-management leader in Iberia with a pro forma regional revenue of over €150 million and a combined valuation of approximately €6.8 billion. Silver Lake will remain the majority shareholder of the combined company while Oakley Capital rolls its Grupo Primavera stake into Cegid and will join KKR and AltaOne as minority shareholders; Grupo Primavera brings ~800 employees, 165,000 paying customers and €76 million revenue in 2021.

Cinven Acquires Ufinet International

Cinven to acquire Viridium and combine it with Generali Lebensversicherung AG

Cinven's Sixth Fund has agreed to acquire the Viridium Group and provide equity for Viridium to acquire Generali Lebensversicherung AG, creating a leading consolidator in the German life insurance market. The combination will bring together roughly 5 million policies and around €55–60 billion of assets under management, with Generali Deutschland retaining a 10.1% stake and Hannover Re reinvesting in the combined entity.
