Hudson Pacific Properties Acquires Quixote Studios for $360M

Hudson Pacific Properties (NYSE: HPP) agreed to acquire Quixote Studios, a provider of sound stages and production services, for $360 million before closing costs. The acquisition — financed with $200 million of borrowings and a $160 million deferred purchase price — expands Hudson Pacific's Sunset Studios platform, adds production services and rental fleets, and is expected to be immediately accretive to results.

Allied Industrial Partners-backed Celebrity Coaches has acquired BandWagon RV Rentals, an RV provider specializing in mid-level tour transportation, for undisclosed terms. The add-on expands Celebrity's fleet to over 120 vehicles, with BandWagon's management (including Founder Marvin Clarke and President Jeremy Clarke) remaining with the integrated company and marks Celebrity's third add-on since Allied's investment in early 2024.

Penske Truck Leasing agreed to acquire Star Truck Rentals, Inc., a Michigan-based transportation services company that offers full-service leasing, commercial truck rental, contract maintenance and used truck sales. The acquisition adds Star’s ~1,900 vehicles and 18 locations across Michigan and Indiana to Penske’s network; financial terms were not disclosed and the transaction was expected to close in Q2 2023 subject to customary approvals.

(WSI) has acquired El Paso-based Sky Trans Group Holdings, LLC (Sky Transportation Services), a regional truckload carrier focused on dry‑van and US–Mexico cross‑border freight. The deal is expected to add over $60 million in annual revenue to WSI and expand its cross‑border and Southwestern U.S. trucking capabilities, with Sky's CEO Albert Luna remaining in a leadership role.

I Squared Capital Acquires Star Leasing Company
