Allegion plc has acquired Waitwhile Inc., a cloud-based appointment scheduling and queue management SaaS provider. The acquisition adds Waitwhile’s virtual waitlist, scheduling and analytics capabilities to Allegion’s access solutions to enhance customer experience and connect virtual queuing with physical access points.

The acquisition complements Allegion's Zentra multifamily access solution by adding perimeter access and mobile/cloud capabilities.

Verint Acquires Qudini Appointment Scheduling Software

Verint has acquired Qudini, a U.K.-based provider of appointment scheduling and virtual queuing software, to add appointment scheduling capabilities to the Verint Customer Engagement Platform. Qudini is privately held, headquartered in London with roughly 20 employees; Seneca Partners EIS Portfolio Fund exited its investment as part of the sale. Terms were not disclosed.

Allegion Acquires UAP Group Limited

Allegion plc has acquired UAP Group Limited, a Bury, England–based designer and supplier of residential door and window hardware founded in 1996. UAP — which holds nearly 200 patents, trademarks and registered designs — will report into Allegion's International segment and UAP CEO David Jennings will join Allegion; terms were not disclosed. The sale represents an exit for private equity owner Maven (including its Buyout Fund and Maven Investor Partners).
