The purchase expands Allegion’s Americas product portfolio and integrates Trimco’s specialty and patented mechanical door solutions into Allegion’s Americas segment; terms were not disclosed.

Allegion Acquires SOSS Door Hardware

Allegion plc, through a subsidiary, has acquired SOSS Door Hardware, the longtime manufacturer of concealed (invisible) hinges and premium door hardware. SOSS will report into Allegion Americas to expand Allegion's door hardware portfolio and complement brands such as Ives, Glynn-Johnson and Zero International; terms were not disclosed.

Allegion plc Acquires Nova Hardware Pty Ltd (Novas)

Allegion plc has acquired Nova Hardware Pty Ltd (Novas), an Australian architectural door hardware business based in Dandenong South, Victoria. Novas founder and owner Todd Foster will join Allegion in an advisory capacity; the transaction excludes Novas' kitchen and bathroom businesses, which the owner will retain as a separate entity. Terms were not disclosed.

Allegion plc Acquires Krieger Specialty Products LLC

Allegion Acquires UAP Group Limited

Allegion plc has acquired UAP Group Limited, a Bury, England–based designer and supplier of residential door and window hardware founded in 1996. UAP — which holds nearly 200 patents, trademarks and registered designs — will report into Allegion's International segment and UAP CEO David Jennings will join Allegion; terms were not disclosed. The sale represents an exit for private equity owner Maven (including its Buyout Fund and Maven Investor Partners).

Allegion plc Acquires STANLEY Access Technologies from Stanley Black & Decker

Allegion plc has completed the acquisition of STANLEY Access Technologies and related automatic entrance assets from Stanley Black & Decker for $900 million in cash. The purchase adds a leading North American manufacturer, installer and service provider of automatic doors—with ~ $340 million in 2021 net sales—strengthening Allegion's seamless access product portfolio and installation/maintenance capabilities in the Americas.
