Premier Polmarex Acquires Nostra Gourmet Foods

Premier Polmarex Inc. acquired Nostra Gourmet Foods Inc., a North York-based fresh and frozen entrées manufacturer, in a deal that closed in May 2019. Beacon Corporation acted as exclusive sell-side advisor and facilitated the transaction to help Polmarex expand its food product offering and distribution reach across the GTA and Southern Ontario.

Sourcepass Acquires Network Solutions and Technology, Inc. (NST)

(NST) and closed a $70MM funding round led by Metropolitan Partners Group with participation from Wedge Venture Partners and angel investors. Questel Acquires NovumIP (Novagraaf and PAVIS)

Questel has signed an agreement to acquire NovumIP, the group formed by European IP services leaders Novagraaf and PAVIS, to expand its IP management and renewals capabilities. The deal is being financed by investors including Eurazeo Capital, IK Investment Partners and RAISE Investissement, with Paragon Fund III (an affiliate of NovumIP’s majority shareholder) participating as a financial investor in Questel.

IFS Acquires Astea International

IFS has completed the acquisition of 100% of the shares of Astea International, a global field service management software provider headquartered in Horsham, Pennsylvania. The deal expands IFS's field service management capabilities and global footprint; Astea founder Zack Bergreen will serve as Senior Advisor while Marne Martin (IFS) will lead the combined service management business.
