Palo Alto Networks has completed the acquisition of Israel-based Dig Security (Dig Security Solutions Ltd.), a provider of Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) technology, integrating its capabilities into the Prisma Cloud platform. The deal was announced completed on Dec. 5, 2023; media reports put the purchase price at about $400 million.

Zscaler Acquires Cloudneeti

Zscaler announced the intent to acquire Cloudneeti, a Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) startup, to extend Zscaler's Cloud Security Platform with public-cloud misconfiguration detection and automated remediation capabilities. The acquisition will broaden Zscaler's data protection coverage across SaaS, IaaS and PaaS environments; terms were not disclosed and the deal was expected to close prior to Zscaler's fiscal third quarter.

Proofpoint Acquires InteliSecure for $62.5M

The acquisition (expected to close in Q1 2021) adds roughly 150 employees and strengthens Proofpoint’s people-centric cloud-based DLP and managed security services; InteliSecure was sold by investor Frontier Growth.
