ShipMonk Raises $65M Growth Equity from Periphas Capital

ShipMonk, an e-commerce fulfillment and inventory management platform headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, received $65 million in growth equity from Periphas Capital to accelerate growth, expand internationally, and enhance its technology and carrier partnerships. Periphas Capital’s Managing Partner Sanjeev Mehra will join ShipMonk’s board; Goldman Sachs and Cooley advised ShipMonk while Kirkland advised Periphas.

ShipMonk Acquires El Mar Mexico (321 Fulfillment) to Launch Mexico 3PL Operations

ShipHero Acquires Cargo Cove Fulfillment

ShipHero has acquired Cargo Cove Fulfillment, a Jacksonville, Florida-based full-service e-commerce logistics and fulfillment provider. The deal integrates Cargo Cove's fulfillment, picking/packing, inventory management and returns services (which serve over 50 e-commerce brands and have shipped over one million orders) into ShipHero's fulfillment network to expand its southeastern U.S. footprint and strengthen its fulfillment capabilities following a $50 million financing round.

Shopify Acquires 6 River Systems

Shopify Inc. has completed its acquisition of 6 River Systems, adding the company’s cloud-based fulfillment software and fleet of collaborative mobile robots to the Shopify Fulfillment Network. The 6 River Systems team of more than 130 employees will remain in Waltham, Massachusetts, and the company’s brand and operations will continue as Shopify expands its fulfillment capabilities.

ShipHawk Acquires Acuity Global and SuiteWM WMS

ShipHawk, the Santa Barbara–based provider of warehouse and fulfillment solutions, has acquired Acuity Global and its SuiteWM warehouse management system. As part of the deal Acuity Global founder Ron Riggin joined ShipHawk as CTO, and ShipHawk will integrate SuiteWM to expand its warehouse, inventory and fulfillment capabilities for eCommerce, retail and wholesale customers.
