ShipHero Acquires Golden Egg Solutions

ShipHero has acquired Golden Egg Solutions, an e-commerce fulfillment and packaging provider based in Salt Lake City, Utah. The acquisition gives ShipHero a strategically located warehouse in the Northwestern U.S. and adds capabilities including HazMat handling, packaging, drop-shipping and white-label supplement procurement for its fulfillment and 3PL clients.

Stord Acquires Cove Logistics

Stord, an Atlanta-based digital warehousing and distribution network, acquired transportation partner Cove Logistics to add freight capabilities and broaden its end-to-end supply chain offering. The deal brings roughly 15 Cove employees into Stord and integrates full truckload, LTL, intermodal and other freight services into Stord’s distribution network and software platform to better serve enterprise and retail customers.

Sheer Logistics Acquires CargoBarn

Sheer Logistics has acquired tech-enabled 3PL and freight brokerage CargoBarn to deepen its 3PL/managed transportation and freight brokerage capabilities. The deal expands Sheer's geographic footprint (adding CargoBarn offices in Fresno, Atlanta, Dallas and Jacksonville) and strengthens its ability to offer managed services and brokerage specialty lanes; terms were not disclosed.

ShipMonk Acquires Ruby Has Fulfillment

ShipMonk has acquired Ruby Has Fulfillment to expand its e-commerce fulfillment footprint and deepen enterprise-class fulfillment capabilities, adding eight fulfillment centers, over 1.3 million square feet of warehouse space and more than 700 employees. The acquisition expands ShipMonk's domestic and international reach (including Canada and the U.K.), brings Ruby Has' Sure Sort technology into ShipMonk's stack, and closed in November 2021.

Flexport Acquires Shopify Logistics and Deliverr

Cart.com Acquires OceanX (Guthy-Renker Fulfillment Operations)

Cart.com has acquired OceanX, the wholly-owned fulfillment operations arm of Guthy‑Renker, adding approximately 200 employees and two facilities (over 600,000 sq ft) to its network. The deal deepens Cart.com’s tech-enabled logistics and fulfillment capabilities for beauty, health and wellness brands and brings Bill Guthy on as a strategic advisor.
