iC Consult Group, a Carlyle-backed IAM consultancy headquartered in Munich, has acquired ICSynergy, a Plano, Texas-based integrator of Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions. The acquisition expands iC Consult's footprint in North America and broadens its managed-service and implementation capabilities; the purchase price was not disclosed and 7 Mile Advisors acted as buyside advisor.

Ampirical Solutions, a PE-backed provider of power engineering services, has acquired Cappstone Energy Group to expand its utility engineering capabilities, adding distribution system planning, GIS, line design and field inspection services. The deal, supported by Ampirical's investor SkyKnight Capital, is intended to broaden Ampirical's end-to-end offering for utility clients while keeping Cappstone's team and ongoing projects in place.

OptConnect Acquires Capestone as Add-on to Expand into Europe
