Brookfield Renewable Acquires Scout Clean Energy from Quinbrook

Brookfield Renewable, together with unnamed institutional partners, finalized a purchase agreement to acquire Scout Clean Energy from Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners for $1.0 billion, with the potential to invest an additional $350 million to support development activities. Scout will continue to operate under its brand as a utility-scale renewable energy developer-owner-operator headquartered in Boulder, Colorado, with ~1,200 MW of operating wind assets and a pipeline of wind, solar and storage projects across the United States.

Scout, a Boulder-based renewable developer and portfolio company managed by Brookfield Asset Management, will advance the project through later-stage development, financing and construction; Redeux was advised by Marathon Capital.

Brookfield Acquires National Grid Renewables; Rebrands as Geronimo Power
