OSW Equipment & Repair LLC of Snohomish, Washington has acquired Northend Truck Equipment Inc, a Marysville, Washington-based custom manufacturer and upfitter of dump trucks, service trucks, snow plows and cranes. ACT Capital Advisors served as exclusive sell-side advisor to Northend, enabling founder Greg Stewart to transition ownership while OSW expands its manufacturing and upfitting capabilities and presence in related end-user markets.

Westward Partners Acquires OSW Equipment & Repair

Seattle-based private equity firm Westward Partners LLC has acquired OSW Equipment & Repair, a Snohomish, Washington manufacturer and repairer of Class 8 dump truck bodies and truck body assemblies. Federal Signal Corporation Acquires TowHaul Corporation

Federal Signal Acquires Standard Equipment Company

Federal Signal Corporation completed the acquisition of substantially all assets and operations of Standard Equipment Company, a distributor of specialty maintenance and infrastructure equipment based in Elmhurst, Illinois. The deal closed Oct. 4, 2024, with an initial purchase price of $38.8 million plus a contingent earn-out of up to $4.8 million; Federal Signal said the acquisition expands its aftermarket parts, service, rental and used-equipment capabilities and footprint in Illinois and Indiana.

Federal Signal Acquires New Way Trucks (Scranton Manufacturing)

Federal Signal Corporation completed the acquisition of Scranton Manufacturing Company LLC, doing business as New Way Trucks, adding a leading U.S. refuse-collection vehicle manufacturer to its Environmental Solutions Group. Federal Signal said New Way brings over $100 million backlog and more than 750 employees, and the company expects to leverage its specialty vehicle platform and aftermarket opportunities to drive growth and margin improvement.

Federal Signal Acquires Mega Corp.

Federal Signal Corporation (NYSE: FSS) completed the acquisition of Mega Corp., a manufacturer of specialty vehicles and equipment for the global metal extraction and construction markets, for $45.5 million in cash (subject to post-closing adjustments). Mega generated about $40 million in net sales for the year ended December 31, 2024 (with roughly 30% from aftermarket parts), operates a manufacturing facility in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and approximately 95 employees joined Federal Signal; the company said the transaction strengthens its specialty vehicle platform and is expected to be accretive to earnings and cash flow in 2026.
