Oliver Wyman Acquires SeaTec Consulting Inc.

Oliver Wyman, a business of Marsh McLennan, has agreed to acquire SeaTec Consulting Inc., a provider of consulting, engineering, and digital services for the aviation, aerospace & defense, and transportation industries. SeaTec will integrate with Oliver Wyman's CAVOK aviation division to expand technical services and scale aviation, aerospace, and defense consulting capabilities globally; the transaction is expected to close in Q1 2024.

Veritas Capital Acquires Wood Mackenzie from Verisk

An affiliate of Veritas Capital has completed the acquisition of Wood Mackenzie from Verisk for $3.1 billion in cash plus up to $200 million of contingent consideration. Veritas will operate Wood Mackenzie as a standalone company to accelerate growth in energy and renewables data, analytics and subscription offerings under new CEO Mark Brinin.

TMX Group Acquires Verity from Resurgens Technology Partners

Cohesity Acquires Veritas' Data Protection Business to Form $7B Company

The acquisition brings Avascent’s ~130 professionals and deep A&D, government-focused and private equity advisory capabilities into Oliver Wyman’s Transportation & Services and Private Capital practices to strengthen its sector expertise and deal/post-transaction services.
