Nexa Receptionists Holdings LLC (Nexa) has acquired the answering services division of Massachusetts-based Crocker Communications. The deal adds Crocker's HIPAA-compliant, 24/7 live answering and encrypted messaging services to Nexa's Healthcare business unit, expanding Nexa's capabilities in medical answering, patient intake, and secure messaging.

Access4 Acquires Channel UC to Expand Cloud Communications Portfolio

National OnDemand Acquires A+ Communications

National OnDemand, Inc., a Burlington, North Carolina-based communications and utilities infrastructure provider, has completed the acquisition of A+ Communications, a last‑mile telecommunications installation services provider founded in 2001. The A+ management team will remain in place while National OnDemand provides corporate support as it expands its national footprint and last‑mile capabilities.

360PR+ Acquires New York-Based CRC

Hunter Communications Acquires McMinnville Access Company (OnlineNW and XS Media)

Hunter Communications, a Grain Management–backed fiber-optic ISP based in Oregon, has acquired McMinnville Access Company LLC, the parent of OnlineNW and XS Media. The add-on expands Hunter's footprint and product offerings across the Willamette Valley and increases its Oregon workforce by about 30 percent to more than 180 employees.

Smartaira Acquires Assets of Direct Plus, LLC

Smartaira acquired the assets of Florida-based multifamily ISP Direct Plus, LLC to expand its east coast footprint and grow its bulk internet and entertainment subscription base in the MDU market. SDC Capital Partners provided capital for the acquisition and Smartaira signed a national service agreement with MasTec Advanced Technologies to maintain installation and fulfillment continuity for Direct Plus customers.
