Carlisle Companies Acquires Henry Company for $1.575 Billion

Carlisle Companies Incorporated (NYSE:CSL) has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Henry Company, a provider of building envelope systems, from affiliates of American Securities LLC for $1.575 billion in cash. The acquisition expands Carlisle’s building envelope and energy-efficiency product portfolio, is expected to generate roughly $30 million of pre-tax cost synergies by 2025, and is immediately accretive to Carlisle’s adjusted EPS.

U-C Coatings (High Road Capital Partners portfolio company) Acquires Eco Chemical

U-C Coatings, a portfolio company of High Road Capital Partners, acquired the assets of Eco Chemical, Inc., a Seattle-based maker of waterborne wood stains and industrial coatings; the deal closed on September 9, 2019. The acquisition expands U-C Coatings' product offerings into the pressure-treated lumber channel, deepens its presence on the U.S. West Coast, and was financed with support from Madison Capital; Eco Chemical founders also reinvested alongside High Road.

NCP Coatings Acquires Glyptal Inc.

NCP Coatings LLC, a Century Park Capital Partners-backed coatings platform headquartered in Niles, Michigan, has acquired Glyptal Inc., a Massachusetts-based manufacturer of high-performance insulating enamels serving electrical and automotive markets. Glyptal will retain its brand while operations and support functions are being integrated into NCP's headquarters; Glyptal's family ownership will assist during the transition. The transaction expands NCP's capabilities into electrical insulation and automotive engine coating applications and represents an add-on acquisition to the PE-backed platform.

BrandSafway Acquires National Coating & Lining Company
