ASSA ABLOY has acquired Securitech Group Inc., a U.S. manufacturer of high-security mechanical and electronic door hardware based in Maspeth, Queens, New York. Securitech generated roughly $16 million in sales in 2022, employs about 50 people, and the acquisition is intended to expand ASSA ABLOY's product portfolio and strengthen its position in mature, high-security end markets.

ASSA ABLOY has acquired 9Solutions, a Finnish provider of AI-powered real-time locating and critical communication solutions focused on senior care. 9Solutions, founded in 2009 and headquartered in Oulu with about 40 employees and ~€10M in 2023 sales, will join ASSA ABLOY's Global Solutions Senior Care business area and the acquisition is accretive to EPS from the start.

ASSA ABLOY Acquires Vigil Health Solutions

ASSA ABLOY has entered into an agreement to acquire Vigil Health Solutions Inc., a Victoria, Canada–based provider of nurse call and resident monitoring systems for senior living. Vigil, founded in 1998 with roughly 30 employees and about CAD 6 million in 2020 sales, will be integrated into ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions Senior Care; the deal was expected to close in Q1 2022 and is accretive to EPS from day one.

ASSA ABLOY Acquires Amecor

ASSA ABLOY Group has agreed to acquire Amecor, a South African designer, manufacturer and distributor of security communication equipment, from Carlyle (via its Carlyle Sub‑Saharan Africa Fund). Financial terms were not disclosed. Amecor is headquartered in Johannesburg (Gauteng), has approximately 120 employees, and has shifted toward network services—with over 600,000 monthly subscribers and recurring revenue representing more than 70% of sales.

Roger, founded in 1991 and headquartered in Gościszewo, Poland, has about 100 employees and reported 2023 sales of ~MPLN 42 (approx. MSEK 110); ASSA ABLOY says the deal is accretive to EPS and expands its product portfolio.

The small, high-margin business (approx. 40 employees; 2022 sales ~USD 30m) complements ASSA ABLOY's entrance automation and access solutions portfolio and is expected to be accretive to EPS from the start.
