Taylor Heating's 36 employees will join HomeServe as the co-owners transition roles, with the acquisition intended to expand HomeServe's local residential HVAC/plumbing service footprint.

HomeServe USA has acquired United Plumbing Company, a residential plumbing contractor based in Goshen (Louisville), Kentucky. United Plumbing, led by former owner Christopher Montgomery who will become General Manager, has nearly 40 employees and will help HomeServe expand its service footprint into the Louisville market and strengthen its local skilled-trades network.

The Ken Griffin team — including founder Ken Griffin and existing staff — will remain with the business; HomeServe said the deal strengthens its service offering in the greater Washington, D.C. area and complements recent local HVAC acquisitions.
