Dura Software Acquires Vertex Systems

Dura Software, a San Antonio-based acquirer of hyper-niche software businesses, has acquired Vertex Systems, a Columbus, Ohio company that provides software for organizations serving adults with disabilities. The purchase expands Dura's footprint into the human-services/healthcare software market; Vertex will move its corporate headquarters to San Antonio while retaining its Columbus workforce.

The Vertex Companies, a portfolio company of Wind Point Partners, has acquired LitCon Group, a forensic accounting, financial analysis, eDiscovery and construction consulting firm. The add-on expands Vertex’s forensic, financial accounting and litigation support capabilities and extends its geographic and technical reach for clients across construction, government contracts, insurance and commercial litigation matters.

Vertex, Inc. Acquires ecosio

Vertex, Inc. is acquiring ecosio, an Austria-based cloud provider of e-invoicing and EDI solutions, to integrate ecosio's global network into Vertex's indirect tax and compliance platform. The deal includes $69 million upfront plus contingent earn-outs and equity, and is expected to close after customary Austrian regulatory approvals with the acquisition expanding Vertex's capabilities in continuous transaction controls and e-invoicing compliance.

Daxtra Acquires PivotCX

Daxtra, the UK-based provider of AI-enriched recruitment software, has acquired PivotCX, an Indianapolis-based talent acquisition communications hub. The acquisition (closed April 24, 2024) will fold PivotCX’s communications capabilities into the Daxtra product suite to improve candidate engagement and conversion; terms were not disclosed.

Vertex Acquires TriLogix Consulting, LLC

The Vertex Companies, LLC has acquired TriLogix Consulting, LLC, a New Jersey-based construction claims, CPM scheduling and risk management firm. The acquisition is a tuck-in to Vertex's platform (backed by Wind Point Partners) to expand project controls, claims and advisory capabilities across the construction and infrastructure markets.

DFW Capital Partners Acquires Vertex Group

DFW Capital Partners has completed the acquisition of Vertex Group, a provider of customer information system (CIS) software and BPaaS integration services for mid-market water, electric and gas utilities, from Oak Hill Capital and GenNx360 Capital Partners. The deal gives Vertex management capital and runway to expand adoption of its VertexOne platform, and was financed with senior debt from Capital Southwest Corporation and East West Bank.
