Finnish defense group Summa Defence Ltd has agreed to acquire all shares of IntLog Oy through a share exchange. IntLog founders Emilia Koivisto and Jukka Pietilä acted as sellers, will remain in leadership roles and become shareholders of Summa Defence; IntLog reported ~€3.5M revenue and 9 employees in 2023 and the purchase price was not disclosed.

Finnish defense and security technology group Summa Defence Ltd has acquired all shares of shipbuilder Uudenkaupungin Työvene Oy via a share exchange. The sellers — Juha Granqvist, Janne Kosomaa and Baltic Workboats AS — become shareholders in Summa Defence; Uudenkaupungin Työvene reported ~EUR 17 million revenue in 2023 and employs about 70 people.

Summa Defence Acquires Lännen MCE Oy

Finnish defence and security group Summa Defence Ltd has acquired Lännen MCE Oy (including its subsidiaries Lännen Tractors Oy, Aquamec Oy and Lännen MCE AB) through a share exchange agreement. The deal brings Lännen's multipurpose machinery and Watermaster capabilities into Summa Defence's portfolio to strengthen mobility and dual-use solutions for defence and civilian infrastructure; Lännen reported ~€50m revenue and ~150 employees for the year ending June 2023.

Summa Equity has acquired a majority stake in FAST LTA, a Munich-based provider of secure data storage and archiving solutions, investing from its EUR 2.3bn Article 9 Fund III. FAST LTA, which has ~100 employees and reported EUR 25m revenue in 2023, will leverage Summa's support to pursue international expansion and further develop its secure, energy-efficient storage and ransomware-protection offerings.

SwtSpot Acquires ArtemisX Defense Inc. from Xalles Holdings

Xalles Holdings has sold ArtemisX Defense Inc., a Florida-based uncrewed systems subsidiary, to SwtSpot, LLC (a Marvina Case family company) in a profit‑sharing sale effective January 14, 2024. The transaction, with payments structured as quarterly installments equal to 90% of ArtemisX's net profits until the purchase price is paid, transfers ArtemisX's U.S. operations to SwtSpot while certain IP and products remain with Artemis Defense Technologies UK.
