Harbour Group, a privately held, operations-focused investment company based in St. Louis, acquired Cattron Holdings Inc., a Warren, Ohio-based manufacturer of wireless control solutions for rail and industrial markets. Terms were not disclosed; Cattron had been the Wireless Automation & Controls Solutions business of Laird Ltd. and Harbour Group said it will support Cattron's growth into new product categories and geographies.

The deal is the first investment for Macquarie Asset Management's new buyout strategy focused on high-quality businesses serving infrastructure end markets and will be led by Andrew Olinick.
