Matrix42 Acquires FireScope

Frankfurt-based Matrix42 has acquired FireScope, a U.S.-based provider of cloud asset intelligence and IT service management, to strengthen its digital workspace management and asset-discovery capabilities. The deal deepens Matrix42's product portfolio and supports its expansion into the U.S. market; FireScope CEO Steven Cotton will join Matrix42 as Vice President and General Manager, Americas.

Financing for the transaction was arranged by Westbridge Capital Partners Income Trust; former CEO Jason Thomas will remain involved as a board member while Kevin Williams was named CEO.
