CogneSense, a platform company backed by L Squared Capital Partners, has acquired Sonitus Systems and Hidden Brain to expand its environmental sensing and IoT capabilities. The transactions add Sonitus's air quality, noise and vibration monitoring hardware and cloud platform and Hidden Brain's open IoT sensor-to-cloud platform, supporting CogneSense's buy-and-build strategy and European expansion.
