Continuim Equity Partners Acquires Fluid Sealing International and Anchor Seals (Anchor Holding Group)

Pittsburgh-based private equity firm Continuim Equity Partners has partnered with industry executive Ronald Mumbray to acquire Fluid Sealing International and Anchor Seals, Inc., collectively operating as Anchor Holding Group (AHG). The acquisition creates a platform in the fluid control segment focused on manufactured seals, gaskets, pumps, valves and value-added distribution to serve chemical, water/wastewater, power, steel and other industrial end markets.

Gallagher Industrial Products Acquires Charts Ltd

Gallagher Fluid Handling, a subsidiary of Gallagher Industrial Products, completed the acquisition of Charts, Ltd., a Midland, Texas manufacturer of gas measurement devices, on January 1, 2023. The deal adds American-made gas measurement and chart recording capabilities and a flagship facility in the Permian Basin to Gallagher's industrial product portfolio to support growth in the oil & gas market.

EQI Ltd. Acquires Ferralloy, Inc.

EQI Ltd. has acquired Ferralloy, Inc., a Cleveland-based supplier of heat-resistant alloy castings, forgings, machined components and specialty raw materials. The deal will fold Ferralloy into EQI's portfolio (alongside Pro-Tech) to expand EQI's thermal processing and metal components capabilities and broaden its customer base and supply-chain footprint.

Crane Engineering Acquires Geiger Pump & Equipment Company

Crane Engineering, a family-owned fluid processing distributor based in Kimberly, Wisconsin, has acquired Geiger Pump & Equipment Company, a Mid-Atlantic distributor and service provider of fluid process equipment with locations in Baltimore, Maryland and Aston, Pennsylvania. The deal expands Crane Engineering's geographic footprint into the Mid-Atlantic and New England and will keep Geiger's president, Chris Brown, in leadership of Geiger operations and in a corporate role with Crane.

HC Private Investments Acquires QEI, Inc.

HC Private Investments, a Chicago-based family office private equity firm, acquired QEI, Inc., an industrial automation and systems company headquartered in Springfield, New Jersey, in partnership with QEI's former owner and CEO, Normand Lavoie. As part of the deal, industry veterans Erik VanLaningham and CJ Kearney will join QEI’s board and Mr. VanLaningham will serve as Executive Chairman; terms were not disclosed.

AQUALIS Acquires Environmental Services, Inc. (ESI)

AQUALIS, a portfolio company of DFW Capital Partners, has acquired the assets of Environmental Services, Inc. (ESI), a stormwater management firm headquartered in Gilford, New Hampshire. The add-on expands AQUALIS' vac/jetting, sediment cleaning and water quality testing capabilities and increases its service density across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.
