Investcorp has acquired Stowe Family Law, the largest specialist family law firm in the United Kingdom, from investor Livingbridge; terms were not disclosed. Based in Leeds, Stowe operates c.90 locations with nearly 400 staff and reported FY revenue of over £37 million; Investcorp will back the firm's Stowe 3.0 growth plan, focusing on scaling clients served and investing in technology and AI-enabled service delivery.

The transaction combines two top-30 conveyancing practices and increases Simply Conveyancing's headcount to over 300, positioning the combined business among the UK's top 10 conveyancing firms. Pirie Palmann will retain its recognised brand as part of the larger group.

The deal establishes Stevens & Lee’s third New Jersey office (its 18th overall) and expands the firm’s corporate, litigation and real estate capabilities in the New Jersey/New York market.

BIP Acquires Chaucer

Italian consultancy BIP has completed a major investment to acquire UK digital transformation consultancy Chaucer, bringing the UK firm into BIP's global network. Growth Capital Partners, Chaucer’s private equity backer since 2014, and other Chaucer shareholders were advised on the transaction and exited as part of the deal, expanding BIP's international footprint and strengthening its UK presence.

Linley & Simpson Acquires Lewis Wadsworth and Sheffield Residential Rental Portfolios
