Tidewater Inc. (NYSE: TDW) completed the acquisition of Swire Pacific Offshore Holdings Limited (SPO) from Swire Pacific Limited on April 22, 2022. The deal adds roughly 50 vessels to Tidewater’s fleet and creates the world’s largest offshore support vessel (OSV) operator, strengthening Tidewater’s scale and capabilities in serving offshore energy markets.

SPIE Acquires 85% Stake in Correll Group

French multi-technical services group SPIE will acquire 85% of Correll Group, a UK-based specialist in electrical engineering, installation and maintenance for the offshore wind sector. The deal expands SPIE Oil & Gas Services' footprint in offshore wind (it will be renamed SPIE Global Services Energy) and is expected to close in January 2024; Correll will retain 15% with management and contributes ~€55m revenue and c.109 employees plus 500+ contractors (2023).

Teledyne Technologies Acquires Valeport Holdings

Teledyne Technologies has entered into an agreement to acquire Valeport Holdings Limited, a Totnes, United Kingdom–based designer and manufacturer of underwater sensors and oceanographic instrumentation. Valeport's product portfolio—sound velocity probes, current and flow meters, CTD sensors and multi-parameter profilers—will join Teledyne Marine to expand Teledyne's subsea technology offerings; terms were not disclosed.

DOF Group ASA has completed the acquisition of Maersk Supply Service A/S from Maersk Supply Service Holding ApS / A.P. Moller Holding for a combination of cash (~USD 577m) and newly issued DOF shares, with MSSH receiving 58,883,073 consideration shares. After closing, A.P. Moller Holding will hold 25% of the combined company; Maersk’s offshore wind turbine installation business will remain with A.P. Moller Holding as the independent Maersk Offshore Wind.
