ALLETE Acquires New Energy Equity

ALLETE, Inc. (NYSE:ALE) has closed its acquisition of New Energy Equity, a distributed and community solar developer based in Annapolis, Maryland, for approximately $165.5 million. New Energy Equity has completed more than 250 distributed solar projects totaling over 330 MW and brings a ~2 GW development pipeline across 26 states; the company's management team and headquarters will remain in place.

TotalEnergies Acquires Core Solar LLC

TotalEnergies has acquired Austin-based Core Solar, LLC, adding more than 4 GW of utility-scale solar and energy storage projects across multiple U.S. states to its U.S. renewables portfolio. Core Solar’s CEO Greg Nelson and his employees will join TotalEnergies as the acquisition strengthens TotalEnergies’ U.S. pipeline and advances its renewable capacity goals.

TotalEnergies Acquires 50% Stake in AES Dominicana Renewables Portfolio

TotalEnergies has acquired a 50% stake in the solar, wind and battery storage (BESS) renewables portfolio owned by AES Dominicana, expanding its renewables footprint in the Dominican Republic. The deal follows TotalEnergies' earlier 30% purchase of AES renewables assets in Puerto Rico and increases the combined Caribbean portfolio to over 1.5 GW of capacity.

Aspen Power Acquires 20-Project Community Solar Portfolio in Illinois

Aspen Power announced it will acquire a portfolio of 20 community solar projects (up to 19 MW), primarily located in Illinois, partnering with a developer and working with Common Energy to subscribe and manage the projects. The acquisition expands Aspen Power's distributed generation footprint and increases access to community solar for residential and low- and moderate-income customers in Illinois.

AMS Renewable Energy Acquires Collective Solar (NY)

The deal brings Collective Solar’s ~160 MW of construction experience and an in‑house civil and electrical construction platform to AMS, accelerating AMS’s ability to scale EPC services across the Northeast and Mid‑Atlantic.

American Securities Acquires CS Energy from Ares and The Conti Group

Affiliates of American Securities LLC have acquired CS Energy, a New Jersey-based engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) firm specializing in utility-scale solar and energy storage projects. The equity interests were purchased from a fund managed by Ares Management's Infrastructure and Power strategy and The Conti Group as part of CS Energy’s next phase of growth under private-equity ownership.
