Gryphon Investors Acquires Ed's Supply Company

Gryphon Investors has acquired Ed's Supply Company, a Nashville-based wholesale HVAC/R distributor with 19 locations across Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky and Tennessee, and will operate it as an independent division of its Heritage Distribution Holdings platform. Financial terms were not disclosed; the existing management team will remain in place with former president Steve Byram becoming an advisor and Tucker Byram named President. The deal expands Heritage Distribution Holdings' multi-region HVAC/R footprint in the Southeast.

Envoy Solutions Acquires Sigma Supply of North America

Envoy Solutions has agreed to acquire Sigma Supply of North America, a Hot Springs, Arkansas-based packaging materials and equipment distributor. The deal expands Envoy's national packaging platform—adding Sigma's network of more than two dozen locations and capabilities across the South, including Texas; the Hamby family will continue to lead Sigma following the transaction.

Coastal will operate under HDH’s Ed’s Supply division and remain led by General Manager David Kennedy as part of HDH’s continued geographic expansion in the Southeast.

Gryphon Investors has acquired a majority interest in Southern HVAC from MSouth Equity Partners and placed the business alongside Right Time under a new holding company, North American Essential Home Services (NAEHS). Southern HVAC, based in Orlando, Florida, operates 15 brands across the Southeastern and Midwestern U.S. and Texas with over 650 employees; the incumbent management team will remain and retain a meaningful equity stake. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Hugg & Hall Equipment Company Acquires Southern Material Handling Company

Hugg & Hall Equipment Company, a family-owned industrial and construction equipment dealership based in Little Rock, Arkansas, has acquired Southern Material Handling Company of Tulsa, Oklahoma. The acquisition expands Hugg & Hall’s Toyota Material Handling territory to cover eastern Oklahoma and adds sales, rental, parts and service capabilities to the company’s network.
