ZenaTech Acquires Velocity Geomatics Inc. (Velocity Group) to Expand Drone-as-a-Service in Canadian Oil and Gas Environmental & Regulatory Services

ZenaTech has completed its acquisition of Grand Prairie, Alberta-based Velocity Geomatics Inc., doing business as Velocity Group, marking its 25th acquisition since it set a January 2025 goal to reach 25 by mid-2026. The deal expands ZenaTech’s Drone-as-a-Service offering into oil and gas environmental and regulatory compliance, including drone-based surveying, mapping, and pipeline-related assessments across Western Canada.
