AgEagle Acquires Measure to Expand Drone Software and Autonomous Control Capabilities

AgEagle Aerial Systems Inc. acquired Measure Global Inc. (Measure), a provider of the Ground Control cloud-based drone operating system, in a cash-and-stock transaction valued at approximately $45 million. The acquisition adds Measure's autonomous flight, fleet-management and analytics software to AgEagle's sensor and drone platform to accelerate the company's push toward end-to-end drone solutions for agriculture, commercial and industrial customers.

Descartes Systems Group Acquires Localz (assets)

Descartes Systems Group acquired the assets of Localz, a Melbourne-based provider of real-time vehicle tracking and customer engagement SaaS for final-mile deliveries, for approximately US$6.2 million paid from cash on hand. The acquisition adds customer scheduling, real-time tracking and click-and-collect capabilities to Descartes' final-mile delivery solutions to enhance the day-of-service customer experience.
