KPM Analytics Acquires Bruins Instruments

KPM Analytics, a Union Park Capital portfolio company, has acquired Bruins Instruments, a German manufacturer of high-resolution near-infrared (NIR) reflectance and transmission analyzers. The deal expands KPM's NIR product line and strengthens its capabilities and market reach in food, grain, dairy and meat analysis by integrating Bruins' technology into KPM's global sales network.

Process Insights (Union Park Capital) Acquires Schneider Electric's Process Analyzers Business

The deal transfers Schneider's FTIR/FT-NIR analyzers and process mass spectrometer technology (ANALECT and MGA product lines) to Process Insights to expand its online and laboratory analytical instrumentation portfolio and capabilities.

The transaction consideration includes C$3 million in cash, 2.76 million Nanalysis shares (two-year lock-up) and up to C$1 million in earn-outs; closing was expected by Dec 31, 2021.
