Milestone Capital, in partnership with D2 Equity Capital, has acquired a majority interest in a newly formed entity created to purchase the assets of MCIP Industrial Enterprises Corp., including its pipe coating plants in Pearland, Texas. The transaction brings MCIP — a family-owned industrial coating business — into Milestone's portfolio, with Milestone and D2 positioning the business for growth in the Gulf Coast pipe coating market; Jeff Donaldson will serve as interim CEO during the transition.

Equistone-backed RENA Technologies Acquires MEI LLC

Germany-based RENA Technologies GmbH, backed by private equity firm Equistone Partners Europe, has acquired US-based MEI LLC (Albany, Oregon) to strengthen its semiconductor wet-chemical processing capabilities and expand its presence in the US market. The deal combines complementary product portfolios and service organizations to offer end-to-end wet-chemical process solutions across semiconductor, MEMS and SiC processing applications.

BICO Steel Acquires RE Metal Finishing

Kreher Steel Co. Acquires Ritchey Metals Company

Chicago-based Kreher Steel Co. has acquired Ritchey Metals Company, a Pittsburgh-area producer of zinc and aluminum alloys and the largest zinc-aluminum steel coatings alloyer in North America. The deal adds more than 120,000 tons of annual alloy output capacity and approximately 110 employees across two facilities, expanding Kreher's manufacturing footprint and product offerings.
