SpotHero Acquires Rover Parking

SpotHero has signed an agreement to acquire Rover Parking, a Toronto-based consumer parking app, accelerating SpotHero’s expansion into Canada and adding thousands of parking locations and Rover’s team to its commercial supply business. The deal is expected to close in Q4 2020 and will see Rover CEO Tim Wootton become SpotHero’s Head of Canada.

The deal will integrate Rover’s responder notification and situational-awareness capabilities into Emergency Reporting’s RMS to improve response times and provide expanded features for first responders; Spotted Dog’s founder Geoffrey Giordano will remain with the combined business.
