Tecta America, the national commercial roofing leader based in Rosemont, Illinois, has acquired Alpine Roofing, a longstanding commercial roofing contractor headquartered in Sparks, Nevada. Alpine's management team, including President Joseph Coyne, will remain in place and the business will operate as Alpine Roofing, a Tecta America Company, expanding Tecta's footprint in northern Nevada and northern California.

Tecta America Acquires Eberhard Companies

Tecta America Corporation Acquires J Reynolds & Co., Inc.

Tecta America Corporation, a portfolio company of Altas Partners, acquired J Reynolds & Co., Inc., a commercial roofing and waterproofing contractor based in Saginaw, Texas; the transaction closed on December 31, 2020. Kratos Capital advised J Reynolds on the sale as J Reynolds becomes part of Tecta’s national platform to expand its commercial roofing and waterproofing capabilities and geographic reach.

Tecta America Acquires Pioneer Roofing LLC

Pioneer Roofing will operate as Pioneer Roofing, a Tecta America Company, with President John Boettcher remaining in a leadership role; the deal expands Tecta's Midwest footprint and service capacity.

Leonard Green & Partners Acquires Majority Stake in TenCate Grass

Affiliates of Leonard Green & Partners (LGP) will acquire a majority stake in TenCate Grass Holding B.V., purchasing shares from Crestview Partners and select other shareholders. TenCate's senior management will remain invested and continue to lead the company; the transaction advances LGP's entry into the sports and outdoor living surfaces market and is expected to close in February 2024 (terms undisclosed).
